They said it... Fun facts:

In June, a new $150,000 sound system for Busch Stadium II makes it debut.

On May 27th Ted Simmons hits a home run and then gets ejected as he crosses home plate...

On August 9th, Ted Simmons finally gets around to signing his contract, though he's been playing all season.  It's believed that Simmons is the only big leaguer ever to play without a contract.

The Cards commit 8 errors in a game against the Cubs on September 23rd.

One of the smallest crowds ever at Busch Stadium II happens on September 27th.  (3,380)
